After a decade and a half, an all-new Toyota Sequoia is finally arriving for the 2023 model year. With a standard hybrid powertrain and up to 9,000 pounds of towing capability, the Sequoia is the SUV you want to buy when you desire the passenger-hauling convenience of an SUV and the cargo-towing ability of a pickup truck.
Based on the same platform and sharing an engine with the all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra truck, the new Sequoia is totally uncompromised. Under the hood, it has a 437-horsepower i-FORCE MAX V6 engine that uses twin turbochargers and a 10-speed automatic to deliver exceptional capability. The Sequoia will be offered with 2WD or part-time 4WD except for the off-road-focused TRD Pro, which will be sold with 4WD only.
In the back, the Sequoia has a new sliding third row with adjustable cargo shelves, a cool innovation that sets it apart from other SUVs and should help families have an easier time loading and dividing cargo.
The all-new 2023 Toyota Sequoia will be offered at five trim levels: SR5, Limited, Platinum, TRD Pro, and a new Capstone trim that really piles on the luxury with exclusive features and authentic American Walnut open-pore trim.
Make sure to stay tuned to the Motor Inn of Spirit Lake blog for more news about the upcoming Sequoia and when it will arrive in our showroom.
