When you think of the best Chevrolet engines, you probably think of huge motors, like the DURAMAX® turbodiesel on the Silverado. You probably don’t think of the smallest engines in the Chevy lineup, like the ECOTEC 1.3-liter turbo three-cylinder engine on the Trailblazer — but WardsAuto does.
In fact, WardsAuto was so impressed by this little three-cylinder motor available on the 2021 Trailblazer that it deemed it one of the 1 0 Best Engines & Propulsion Systems on the market.
Although it only produces 155 horsepower, that’s a tremendous amount of power to milk from only 1.3 liters. That horsepower-per-liter rate is even better than the 6.2-liter V8 on the Corvette Stingray. This efficiency is due to components like an active thermal management system, a variable-flow oil pump, and a deep-skirt cylinder block. When you look at the Trailblazer’s engine in that regard, it’s quite impressive!
In addition to its efficient power production, the engine was also proved to be quiet and responsive — both positives for drivers in Spirit Lake who don’t want to drive a loud SUV.
When you think about vehicles that your dog can ride in, you probably think about large SUVs, minivans, and pickup trucks with double cabs. But what about a sports car?
If you drive the Chevrolet Corvette, your pooch will have a grand time riding along. Why is the Corvette one of the most dog-friendly cars we sell here at Motor Inn of Spirit Lake?
According to Car Gurus — which included the 2021 Chevrolet Corvette on its list of best cars for dog owners — small dogs don’t need a lot of space, so even the two-seat Corvette may offer enough room for you and your four-legged companion.
If it’s just you and Rover taking a ride to the park or a road trip through Iowa, the big doors of the Corvette, as well as its safety features and driving assistance tech, can accommodate you — especially if you have a small breed like a pug, French bulldog, or terrier.
If your best friend is a furry canine who loves traveling with you wherever you drive and you have some extra money to spend on a legendary sports car, the Chevrolet Corvette might offer the best solution for you. Talk to a sales assistant at Motor Inn of Spirit Lake to see how you can own your own Corvette.
