Toyota has been steadily expanding its Corolla range for the past few years, starting with the Corolla Hatchback, then the Corolla Cross, and now the upcoming GR Corolla and Corolla Cross Hybrid. The all-new model will be assembled at the company’s brand-new manufacturing plant in Huntsville, Alabama, and will be offered at five trim levels: LE, XLE, S, SE, and XSE.
Positioned between the Toyota C-HR and the bestselling RAV4, the Corolla Cross Hybrid will use an exclusive electronic all-wheel-drive system and produce 194 horsepower. Toyota anticipates it will get 37 miles per gallon combined, pending testing by the EPA. That’s 25 more ponies and seven more mpg than the gas-only version. And with a 0-60 mph time of just 8 seconds, it will be faster too.
The new Toyota SUV will feature the brand’s latest multimedia system, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ smartphone integration, USB-C charge ports, available Wi-Fi, and Toyota Safety Sense™ 3.0. After a decade and a half, an all-new Toyota Sequoia is finally arriving for the 2023 model year. With a standard hybrid powertrain and up to 9,000 pounds of towing capability, the Sequoia is the SUV you want to buy when you desire the passenger-hauling convenience of an SUV and the cargo-towing ability of a pickup truck.
Based on the same platform and sharing an engine with the all-new 2022 Toyota Tundra truck, the new Sequoia is totally uncompromised. Under the hood, it has a 437-horsepower i-FORCE MAX V6 engine that uses twin turbochargers and a 10-speed automatic to deliver exceptional capability. The Sequoia will be offered with 2WD or part-time 4WD except for the off-road-focused TRD Pro, which will be sold with 4WD only.
In the back, the Sequoia has a new sliding third row with adjustable cargo shelves, a cool innovation that sets it apart from other SUVs and should help families have an easier time loading and dividing cargo.
The all-new 2023 Toyota Sequoia will be offered at five trim levels: SR5, Limited, Platinum, TRD Pro, and a new Capstone trim that really piles on the luxury with exclusive features and authentic American Walnut open-pore trim.
Make sure to stay tuned to the Motor Inn of Spirit Lake blog for more news about the upcoming Sequoia and when it will arrive in our showroom.
