The new “Can Strike Anywhere” campaign from Ford lets you see and experience the all new-F-150 Lightning wherever you are. Partnering with Google, Ford launched a three-dimensional, augmented reality experience so you can see all the features and tech of Ford’s truck of the future.
“There is a tremendous amount of intrigue about what electric vehicles can do,” said Suzy Deering, chief marketing officer, Ford Motor Company. “At Ford, we want to show, not just tell since we believe educating customers on the full potential and capabilities of electric vehicles helps them make the transition from traditionally powered vehicles to all-electric ones.”
Ford felt compelled to create the 3D visual experience to help the reservation holders of the F-150 Lightning™ better understand the features and ownership benefits of an electric truck. According to Ford, 80-percent of the drivers who have reserved the innovative truck have not owned an electric vehicle before. This campaign is another tool to highlight the F-150 Lightning including its battery range, towing capabilities, mega power frunk, charging solutions, and connectivity tech in the interior.
Users can also customize the look and feel of the F-150 Lightning with color choice and trim package. Then, they can “see” how the truck performs in the “real world.”
Pickup trucks are very useful to drive here in Spirit Lake, especially for carrying equipment or towing a trailer. However, most trucks burn through gasoline so fast that you practically have to refill the tank every time you start the engine.
If you want to drive a fuel-efficient truck that conserves gas, you should take a look at the new Ford Maverick. It has a 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid powertrain that comes standard on the base model, so you don’t have to pay extra for great fuel economy.
And that’s what you’ll get from the hybrid Ford Maverick, as it averages 40 mpg in city driving. That makes it the most efficient truck on the market, with fuel consumption rates that rival most sedans.
The compact pickup truck still has the strength to haul 1,500 pounds in its bed and tow 2,000 pounds from its hitch. So, if you don’t plan on going grueling work with your truck in Iowa and just need the vehicle for its bed, the Maverick may be the truck you need. It’s a versatile truck, especially with its FLEXBED™ system that enhances storage solutions and organization.
Here at Motor Inn of Spirit Lake, we want to provide drivers in Dickinson County, Iowa, with affordable transportation solutions — especially when it comes to buying a pickup truck. That’s why we competitively price all our new and used trucks for a variety of budgets.
If you want a low-priced pickup truck in Spirit Lake that’s cheap to maintain, we recommend you look at the 2021 Ford Ranger.
Kelley Blue Book published its list of the cheapest trucks of the year, and the latest Ranger was No. 1 on the list. According to KBB writer Allyson Harwood, “The 2021 Ford Ranger can cost less over five years than any other truck, topping this year’s list of cheapest trucks.”
Looking beyond the initial price to maintenance and ownership costs, KBB determined that the Ranger is more affordable to drive than any of the competitors in its midsize class or the full-size class above it.
We know that hard-working residents of Spirit Lake like you need the most bang for your buck, especially when it comes to needing a truck for work on the farm, in the fields, or at the worksite. That’s why we invite you to check out the most affordable pickup truck at Motor Inn of Spirit Lake: the Ford Ranger. Find it in stock at our dealership.
