The all-new 2022 Jeep® Grand Cherokee 4xe is the first electric Grand Cherokee—and already it’s making big impressions. The rugged SUV dominated the annual Mudfest competition organized by the Northwest Automotive Press Association, earning it the title of Northwest Outdoor Activity Vehicle of the Year.
“The 2022 Jeep® Grand Cherokee 4xe marks a new era in the SUV market,” says NWAPA President John Vincent of U.S. News & World Report. “It’s a no-compromise vehicle that blends Jeep®’s legendary off-road capability with outstanding on-road manners, impressive fuel economy and the ability to travel on electricity alone.”
The all-new Grand Cherokee 4xe was also named the top Electrified Utility Vehicle in both the mid- and full-size family vehicle categories, marking the first time in the awards’ 27-year history that any vehicle wins those awards and the overall title in the same year. It also meant that Jeep® was the winner of nearly half of the vehicle categories.
How was the Grand Cherokee 4xe tested? Members of NWAPA spent two days testing 20 vehicles from 17 different manufacturers both on and off the road, including at The Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, Washington.

If you’re looking for a ride with the best bang for your buck, look no further than the 2022 Jeep® Wrangler and 2022 Jeep® Gladiator. They were named the “Best Value in America” for the compact SUV segment and small/midsize pickup segment, respectively, by Vincentric, which analyzes both consumer and fleet markets every year to discover vehicles with the best value.
It’s the seventh time that the iconic Jeep® Wrangler has won the Vincentric Best Value in America award, which is determined by statistical analysis of market prices and total cost of ownership of 2022 model-year vehicles. The 2022 Wrangler is the first ever to be offered with a plug-in hybrid powertrain that uses two electric motors to deliver 21 miles of all-electric range.
As part of the awards, Vincentric also identified the 2022 Dodge Charger and 2022 Dodge Durango as having the lowest total cost of ownership in the large sedan and large SUV segments, respectively. In other words, if you’re looking for a ride that isn’t just affordable up front but stays affordable over time, then Dodge is a great pick.

The 2022 Jeep® Wrangler Rubicon 392 is the quickest and most powerful Wrangler ever made. With those kinds of bona fides, awards are sure to follow. Four Wheeler recently named the Wrangler Rubicon 392 its choice for 2022 SUV of the Year, securing yet another major award win for Jeep®.
Four Wheeler, an offshoot of MotorTrend, pitted the Wrangler Rubicon 392 against stout competition — namely, three other Jeep® models including the Wrangler Rubicon 4xe. Ultimately, according to writer Jason Gonderman, the Wrangler Rubicon 392 won because it “may just be the pinnacle of factory off-road SUVs.”
Four Wheeler’s content director, Sean P. Holman, added that the Wrangler 392 hit every bullseye necessary to win the 2022 SUV of the Year running away. That includes massive 35-inch tires, solid axles, and a rip-roaring V8.
Thanks to its 6.4-liter V8, the 2022 Jeep® Wrangler Rubicon 392 puts down 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. That means that it can rocket from 0-60 mph in just 4.5 seconds on the road. And because it’s Trail Rated®, it’s every bit as impressive on dirt, dunes, and pointed toward destinations unknown.
For those looking for rugged adventures, Jeep® recently released details about its new midsize SUV that brings the ultimate power and performance. As the quickest, most powerful Wrangler model available, the new 2021 Wrangler Rubicon 392 Launch Edition makes it easier and better to enjoy the outdoors.
The 2021 Wrangler Rubicon 392 offers legendary off-road capability with more power and more torque. The 4×4 SUV is the only Wrangler to come with a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine that generates an impressive 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. The 2021 Wrangler Rubicon 392 can go from 0 to 60 mph in 4.5 seconds and travel a quarter of a mile in just 13 seconds. Its exceptional capability means the Jeep® Wrangler Rubicon 392 can traverse some of the toughest trails with dynamic maneuverability.
The special edition Wrangler has an aggressive stance that gives it a commanding presence. From its 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels and 33-inch mud-terrain tires to its dual exhaust with quad tailpipes, the Wrangler Rubicon 392 has a powerful look that mirrors its performance. The Jeep® Gladiator was an exciting addition to the Jeep® lineup just last year. Now, the 2021 model is getting an exciting special edition, the Willys edition. This special model will come with increased off-road abilities and unique styling elements.
Visually setting the Gladiator pickup truck apart from the standard models is a large Willys hood decal, a “4 Wheel Drive” tailgate decal, and unique 17-inch wheels with a gray print. There are eight exterior color options to choose from including Snazzberry, Sarge Green, Firecracker Red, and Billet Silver Metallic.
Inside, the Gladiator Willys comes with either black or Heritage Tan and Black cloth seats. All-weather floor mats come standard to help protect the interior from the elements.
